Day 249

Isaiah 10:20-13:22, 2 Corinthians 8:16-9:5, Psalm 105:37-45

I discovered something today, 249 days is a long time. I also discovered something that I think everyone on the Bible in a Year journey needs to be comfortable with: it is OK to struggle. I am certainly finding it a long slog at the moment.

Paul seems to be on housekeeping matters, Isaiah is long and has a fair bit of doom and judgement at the moment, and the Psalm is recounting a story we have already heard. Through all of this though:

“The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my song;
   he has become my salvation.” (Is 12:2)

“Praise the Lord” (Ps 105:45)

Praise the Lord indeed.
