Day 282
Jeremiah 18:1-20:18, 1 Thessalonians 1:1-2:16, Psalm 119:1-8
The potter's wheel is a wonderfully classic image from the book of Jeremiah. It is a passage that has changed many lives and the understanding of God for many people.
The message is simple and does not really need expanding on, that no matter what we have done, no matter how bad we feel our past is, go can remould us and change us. It is perhaps even more powerful in that it was written in the context of judgement. For us, by the grace of Christ, we are free, no matter how rotten we think we are. We are free and we can be changed by God.
It is a message that does not really need adding to, God see the potential in you, to create something new and glorious. Allow yourself to be moulded by the master potter today.
