Lamentations 2:7-3:39, Philemon 1-25, Psalm 119:121-128

Christ changed everything. When God gave up the comfort of heaven and took on human form in the body of Christ, the world and the universe changed. When he gave up his human body for death on the cross, we changed.

One thing that definitely changed is the judgement of the Old Testament. This was brought home to me with the very first verse today, telling us that “the Lord has rejected his altar, and abandoned his sanctuary”. That would never actually happen because the altar, the sanctuary, the temple is within us and the Lord will never reject us for he loves us too much, he loves us so much that he was willing to die on the cross for us.

There are days when I struggle what to say and today is one of them. Sometimes the message is so simple, we are God’s holy place and he will never reject us. His love for us is too great.
