Day 347

Esther 6:1-8:17, Revelation 4:1-11, Psalm 142:1-7

The life that we live is temporary, at the end of the day it will end when we die and then we go on to eternal life with Christ. This is just a practice rally, a dry run for the eternal part, preparation for the real deal.

So if this is the practice run, what should we be practicing? Revelation today tells us that there will be lots of singing:

“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.”

and

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honour and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
   and have their being.”

I can’t sing but I can praise God, I can speak and shout of his glory and give him all glory honour and praise. And perhaps I should start practicing so that my voice is ready to do it for all eternity. 7

Just writing that make me think “wow”, to spend eternity praising God is heaven indeed.

Are you ready or do you need a bit of practice?
